Laughlin legal, PC is pleased to announce that Yau Lee has been admitted in California as a Provisionally Licensed Lawyer. Yau received her Juris Doctor from Golden Gate University School of Law and earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Ethnic Studies from the University of California, San Diego. Yau has extensive experience in all aspects of family law. Prior to joining Laughlin Legal, PC in 2016, Yau served as a judicial extern to the Honorable Judge Monica F. Wiley, Judge Lillian K. Sing (retired) and Judge Ronald E. Alberts of the San Francisco Unified Family Court. From 2015 to 2016, Yau worked as a court paralegal at the ACCESS Self-Help Center for the San Francisco Superior Court. During this time, she worked on a wide array of cases and became highly skilled in the preparation of family law forms, financial disclosures, and legal pleadings. Yau has been a vital part of the legal team working closely with attorneys and clients in dissolution and mediation matters. Yau is a bilingual mediator fluent in Mandarin and Cantonese.
